Our company has several products (most of it in the cell phone/accessory space) all patent pending, not all that complex, some patented and we are looking to add to the product lineup. From napkin, to concepts, to illustration to 3D printer to high volume production. This will require someone from the outside, taking a fresh eyes, out of the box approach to what we are doing currently, and more importantly what we should be doing going forward. Need someone who can stand by their designs, but also be able to quickly visualize and conceive if the idea can be easily monetized/commercialized. No point in wasting anyone's time trying to go to market with something no one can afford to buy. Need knowledge of finish, material, in addition to the design element. Offshore manufacturing knowledge is a plus. NDA signature will be required.
To wrap it up, I have hired an outside person (s) prior, to this day they have never been on time with a project. Nice ideas but the market moves too fast to wait as long as I am forced to.
