Job Requirements
Researches, reviews and evaluates industry/ company best practices to plan, design and develop complex/technical data warehouse modeling and business systems used by the global BI team. Designs data models / packages for end users to fully leverage their business information. Defines and maintains the quality of the BI framework and products. Identifies and resolves any quality issues. Trains, evaluates and advises design proposals of less experienced Developers. Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing expertise and advice to team members and clients regarding technical/ complex/ escalated troubleshooting, issue resolution, and (non)routine inquiries.
Reviews and evaluates recommendations of company/ industry best practices to develop practices and processes used in determining the design choices and methodologies executed in the development of global BI products. Builds awareness of business drivers and company strategy to the development of BI products. Educates Developers on standards and procedures and advise of updates/ changes. Defines and implements technical strategy, collaborating with cross:functional team members, including management, to ensure business direction and strategy is incorporated. Drives improvement and quality within the team though the development of department initiatives; evaluate and implement appropriate recommendations for improvement.
Leverages established business relationships with management to ensure appropriate BI solutions are implemented. Provide SME support to end:users and colleagues in the resolution of (non)routine technical issues or inquiries. Champion the BI function and provide awareness and information to current and potential users
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree : Information Technology, Mathematics, or related field
Typically Minimum 8+ Years Relevant Exp : development and data warehouse design experience

SUPERVISION : Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
Development Skills : IBM Cognos 10.1 or above, Tableau, SQL
Design Abilities : Data warehouse design, Advanced Reporting Concepts, Data modeling
Computer Knowledge : Advanced Microsoft Excel
