See below for more in:depth details of the job responsibilities and qualifications for this position.This position will provide personal services of a Pulmonologist and Critical Care Medicine (P/CCM) Physician for the Department of Medicine Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Medicine Service at Martin Army Community Hospital. He/she will contribute to a stable workforce tasked with providing quality health care services to a diverse military beneficiary population.TYPE OF WORK (The duties include but are not limited to the following):: Examine patients; determine need for and order laboratory tests, x:rays, and other procedures necessary to complete medical facts on the case; make diagnosis of disease or disorder, and plan and carry out or prescribe course of treatment.: Must be qualified to perform: Bronchoscopy, Pulmonary Function Testing, Polysomnography, and Tube Thoracotomy.: Exercise admitting privileges for patients requiring inpatient care or observation.: Provide professional guidance to house staff and medical students assigned to the ICCU team through inpatient rounds and other direct interaction and instruction.: Education: Must have successfully completed an MD or DO program, and a Fellowship training in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine.: License: Must maintain active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any US State.: Experience: Must have two years of current clinical experience following completion of Fellowship training.: Certification: Must be board certified in both Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine: Must have BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA.: Current DEA required.: U.S. Citizenship required.If you are interested in applying for this position, please start by submitting your resume For more details regarding this specific job, Clovis Aldridge at , or .
