Responsible for overall support of client(s) assigned component area, which are systems, system module(s), product(s) or projects(s). Being the client advocate, works to deliver quality customer service by understanding the client’s and TSYS strategic initiatives, ensuring sound decisions are being made, understanding the financial implications, identifying revenue opportunities and keeping them aligned with the growth for both companies.Essential Responsibilities§ Provides a strategic focus, direction of the work, decisions and processes in an assigned component area, which are systems, system module(s), product(s) or project(s). Works to emphasize quality client support, sales and marketing of the product(s).§ Requires specialized professional business knowledge of assigned component(s). Demonstrates ability to apply a full range of advanced methods, principles or practices to support the area’s business objective and area of specialty with the ability to select methods and practices most appropriate. Requires the ability to apply functional, business or industry knowledge for the relevant business opportunities or problem solving. Has a working knowledge of related functional or business areas.§ Must be able to guide the understanding of client’s requirements and impact for area (e.g. monetary impacts, compromised data, regulatory breeches, impact of system changes and/or issues to TSYS, client, and/or vendor). Guides client support activities, to include business development for respective area, for problem resolution and management, client maintenance, project requests, system enhancements, and client specific requests. Assist in determining resources for large projects. Requires the ability to adapt, modify or establish processes or procedures as needed to resolve situations. Participates in the migration validation calls, and works to ensure proper verification occurs.§ Ensures regular reporting to the client on issues, projects, client maintenance, and process improvements. Participate in client meetings and TSYS sponsored forums. May present initiatives to large groups and/or Senior Management. Conducts frequent client communication with purpose to gain consensus or compromise on problems sometimes involving confidential or sensitive information. Responsible for building relationships with clients. Build and maintain positive working relationships external and within our organization.§ Define, establish methods and track financial measurements or effectiveness measurements to quantify contribution to TSYS income and expense of component(s). Participate in regular status meetings or reporting to ensure options, problems, and projects are being completed on schedule and with quality. Monitors resources and work load, identifies additional needs required to provide quality client support.§ Work with management, technical and outside areas to include vendors to set priorities for work efforts and to build cross functional teams. Help the management of other areas set priorities between multiple client’s work and issues and project needs. Serves as escalation point for internal and external contacts. Exercises limited independent action. Non-routine issues should be handled with limited referral to Management with input or recommendations. Decisions typically affect a cost center or entire department and will include groups with similar responsibilities in other departments. Errors have potential to result in moderate to significant impact. Build and maintain positive working relationships with Account Management, Technical, and other areas within our organization.§ May participate in the training of clients, team members, other outside entities on the module and may market the component’s features. May conduct the training, consulting and assist in Sales presentations to Prospects.§ Review of deliverables from the relevant TSYS processes (i.e., Service Center, Client maintenance, TMM, CDMET, File Transfer procedures, etc.) for content, accuracy, areas for improvement and potential system impacts. May serve as final approver and has overall accountability for team member’s work.§ Responsible for determining impact across component lines of development projects or client requests. Facilitates knowledge transfer between ongoing projects and client issues to ensure component(s) is meeting TSYS and client needs. Works to determine alternatives to meet Client needs or increase revenue opportunities for TSYS.§ Consults on approach to client billing for services and on-going products or features. May provide recommendations to management for the Pricing Committee, Investment Decision Council or other approving bodies.§ Works to identify potential module features and services that will increase TSYS revenue, improve client productivity, and mitigate risk.§ Supervisory responsibility over multiple team members performing skilled tasks. Team tasks may be highly specialized in nature in one or more functional areas. Provides direction and management for team member’s career growth and mastery of job responsibilities. Plans for team member training and mentor team members. Also responsible for development of multiple levels of management in area. Conducts Right Steps process with team members, incorporating department and company goals. Approves team member’s leaves and completes required paper work. Serves as the escalation point for team member work schedule and makes recommendations on salary administration.§ Assist in or may plan annual budget for cost center to include employment expense, revenue, travel, equipment, and resources needed to maintain high level of client service. Plan for conversion activities of new and existing clients.§ Responsible in participating, facilitating, or serving on focus groups, committee’s, improvement initiatives, or various councils (Client Advisory, Operational Excellence project, etc.)§ On call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Required to carry a pager or cell phone and respond appropriately.§ Responsible for creating and establishing actions plans relative to the TSYS team member and client survey.§ Yellow belt training required.QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExhibit characteristics that align with corporate leadership and core values.Listen well and utilize information.Ensure meaningful performance evaluation meetings and documentation.Understand the clients’ business and collaborate with the clients to meet their objectives.Plan and manage to annual budget for cost center.Understand the factors which enable TSYS to prosper.Work well in a fast-paced, high pressured environment with irregular hours.Travel as required.Possess and apply specialized knowledge unique to the organization using common methods and principles.Analyze information for moderately complex problem resolution.Plan and lead the work efforts of others.Demonstrate appropriate leadership style in varying circumstances.Guide team members performing moderately complex duties.Education and/or ExperienceFour year college degree and eight or more years professional experience or ten or more years professional experience is required. Previous management experience is required for leadership and previous experience managing teams or projects is required for matrix management. Some appropriate TSYS experience is preferred.
